My to-make list is nearly as long as my to-do list and a little shorter than my to-read list.
Sam wrote about time this morning and I keep thinking about it now. I am always saying I don't have time to make things--and this is partially true, as I don't have as much time as I'd like--but I don't create the time, either. Sometimes you simply must shut the laptop, or at least switch from your web browser to your music collection, and do something with your hands.
I have a few projects I want to try--two for myself, one to accompany a wedding gift for a friend, and one to accompany a birthday present. Today, I'm getting the supplies; tomorrow, I'll be making them all. Or at least two.
What things do you need to create time for?

I love the his hers pillow cases. super cute!
The two most important things I create: food and stories. I always give myself good time to bake for friends and make meals for myself. And whenever the inspiration for a story strikes I stop what I'm doing and ride that wave.
Have fun with your creations!
