why untitled, unwritten?

I once labeled everything before it was written, until I found it kept too many words away. Now I am leaving the unwritten untitled, until it grows into a name.

interlude :: thank you

Thank you, to one of my grandfathers, and one of my husband's, for serving when you were young.

Thank you, and congratulations, to my cousin, for the well-earned new stripe after your second year at West Point.

Thank you, and congratulations, to my just-graduated cousin, for your upcoming entry into the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Thank you to my little brother-in-law, for joining the National Guard and working hard in college at the same time.

And everyone else who serves and gives--thank you.
